The scene where Ruby and her friends are walking through Ruby's first school is the same school used for The O.C., Pretty cool!!

Indeed it is. Its actually Mount St. Mary's College where many other films/shows have been filmed including The Closer (tv),Death Becomes Her, High Anxiety, etc.
