It's one of those movies where you go "stupid, stupid, stupid!" all the time but you can't stop watching because you're craving the moment when it's over and you can be relieved.

Just don't watch these films in theaters. Pass out to them after downloading them, then there is no guilt that keeps you watching if it doesn't go how you'd like it to go.
It is pretty frustrating when you think the characters are ensuring a long over done chase scene or whatever. It's a plot device to have them make the wrong choice, but it is funner when they do all the right things but still get screwed.
Usually in these films they start out weak, making bad choices and trusting the wrong people, and then later they grow into the hero we wanted to see.
It's just a plot you seem to not enjoy, so beware, learn more about a movie before you waste time on them.
I hate how IMDb signatures look like part of the post.
