I've never seen the beginning of this movie. However...I've always thought that Mr/Mrs Glass were planning on killing the kids, because they threw away the post cards from the uncle and they withdrew the kids from the school for the following year. The school tuition refund wouldn't have paid off Mr Glass' debts, but if the kids were dead he wouldn't get their money either. Any thoughts?
