Were the Glass's planning on killing the kids?
From the time they adopted them, they knew they killed their parents. Were they planning on trying to kill the kids all along?

sharePossibly, AFTER they get the money.
shareBut there was no way they could have got the money, which was a trust fund for the kids and the use was carefully monitored. The Glasses could only cheat by relatively small amounts, like claiming expenses for the kids they did not actually spend (e.g., the refund of school fees from Ruby's old school, renovation of the house to make the children "more comfortable"). If the Glasses killed both kids, the money wouldn't be passed on to them.
It was obvious that Mr. Glass was "interested" in Ruby. Later, when she was getting too smart, he did try to send her away at first, and then actually tried to kill her. In the film, he told Ruby that he only needed to keep one of them alive (to be able to use the trust fund).
I think they just wanted the money....and didn't realize how difficult the life would be....or getting the money out....(flimsy stories woulnt work) but as the plot progresses they were getting more and more desperate.....I think they would have tried to send rubys suicide....rhett was easy to control....so no need to kill him yet
shareI meant kids not life....not sure how to edit posts on new mobile settings
