Does anyone know if if that is a real restaurant that he takes Ruby to in the movie with the ocean right outside? If so does anyone know what the name of the restaurant is? It looks like a place I went years ago.

shareApparently the Chart House is closed. It was at 18412 Pacific Coast Highway. It is now Mastro's Ocean Club.
The most famous restaurant at the ocean in the Malibu area is Gladstones at 17300 Pacific Coast Highway but it is actually in Pacific Palisades. One time someone asked me if I knew of a little restaurant down the road and I said Gladstones and they were so surprised I knew. It is getting old and run down and people are saying it is time for something new but they might be threatening to close Gladstones (I think there is a lease involved) as a way to get the owners to fix the place up.
