Hilarious, Most Hollywood Ending Ever. Period (Spoilers)

Though not entirely original, I found the movie to be ok but the ending was freaking over the top from the moment Diane Lane OD'd until the credits ran. 5 (maybe 6 if you include the Sheriff) people die in a 15 minute span in every tragic, ironic way. The girl is finally free of her evil parents and what does she do? She doesn't call the polic, she hoofs it down the road so the film for the sole purpose of Terry coming back to life, giving her the opportunity to run him over. Hell, my whole life won't have as many action scenes as these kids saw in like 15 minutes.

actually i thought the ending was kind of interesting and deep since it was reflecting hamlet's revenge theme.

Add to that the fact that she did not have to run him over to get away. Legally she would be guilty of murder. The movie implies we can get away with killing someone if we have decided it is justified.

If your shitty, lameass life had close-to-as-many ACTION scenes as this movie, or as any thriller, then WHAT would be the point of watching movies? It's ok to have a terrible, boring life. Most of us have bad and boring lives and want to commit suicide every minute of every day. But we don't. Not because movies are relatable, but because they fool us into thinking that our own lives could potentially be more interesting in the near future, with just a little effort. So we hold out hope for that day

Do you think that Glass House was supposed to be some true-to-life kitchen-sink drama? No, it was a "suspense" movie. AKA a popcorn thriller. Escapism
