What do you think the fish was going to say the meanning of life was? What's the first thing that came to mind when he got his head choped off?

I thought he was going to say that quote that Bibi's friend made earlier: Death. I thought he was going to say death, but then the blade said it for him. It echoes a quote earlier in the movie: All human actions are a movement toward death. Something like that.
She had the abortion. SHe ran over that fish. She killed that man with her car. Her friend disregarded the octopus (once a life) like it was nothing; had them throw it out. That sweet lullabye was about killing and destruction of one's enemies. There were often scenes of dead fish. All "actions" of man.
So, I think the fish was going to say the meaning of our existence was death.

I like what 28D6H42M12S said about death... Also, there was the plane in the paper...
As for me, I just think that the fish couldn't say anything because life doesn't mean anything. Camus said it, life doesn't make aby sense. So that fish, by not saying it, says it all...
Or that the meaning of life cannot be known, and that it is completely open to interpretation. Which is what is going on here.
shareActually the line was "All human actions are manifestations against death." which completely changes your entire interpretation by no longer making that much sense.
