Sucks, but not the worst.

I recognize it’s flaws, and particularly how dated it feels. However, I still like it better than Rob Zombie and H20. So three movies in the series are worse imo.

The aspects I like are how it captures my generations’ community college era students. The direction and cinematography are also good. The Haddonfield location and the Myers house were recognized as important to the series, whereas H20 thought it didn’t matter. Steve Miner, director of H20, also didn't understand that the Don Post Shatner mask was important and had character, which resulted in the CGI debacle.

Back to Resurrection: I didn’t mind Busta Rhymes and Dangertainment much, but the mistake was he should have been killed around the time Tyra Banks was. They needed to replicate a Loomis-type character instead, perhaps a new sheriff played by Michael Rooker or someone, who expressed concern about the project, and saves the day at the end without doing Kung Fu for crying out loud. 🤬 This may have provided a springboard for future sequels in this timeline as Myers wakes in the morgue. He’s only as good as his nemesis is.

Another good choice would be the return of paramedic, Jimmy Lloyd (Lance Guest) from Halloween II. Wasted opportunity since the director of II, Rick Rosenthal, also did Resurrection. Hard to believe he didn’t fight for some returning cast members from his prior project. Pamela Susan Shoop’s character supposedly died in the hot tub in II, but it wasn’t quite definitive. (They brought Loomis back and he was at the center of an explosion!) Shoop was willing to do conventions, so probably could have returned to the series, her nurse character being married to Lance Guest or whatever—trying to shut down Dangertainment, and provide some first aid to final girl, Sara Moyer.

Interesting 'alternate' take on this movie

It's the worst movie of the entire series and I wanted Michael Meyers to kill everyone. They were trespassing on his property.

They weren't a threat to hurt him tho. But I think the Rob Zombie ones are worse.

Maybe so but they were an unlikeable cast and the Busta Rymes Kung Fu was ridiculous.
