The film was really great and as usual Nick Cage delivered big time. But couldn´t they have found a more pretty actress for Kate? I know they weren´t going for a sex bomb but this was below average. I just couldn´t believe her as this big "prize" in his life more important and better than a 130billion dollar fusion.

Putting aside for a moment the opinion of, I believe most people, that Tea Leoni is a very, very attractive actress, the reason to be with someone isn't for looks alone. Sure, there needs to be an attraction there, but when Arnie told Jack that any guy would want to be with Kate, he was talking about the whole package. Kate came off as smiley and happy. Her life wasn't just about work, she cared about family and seemed to be very easy to get along with. She also had a girlish excitement about things like anniversaries or something as simple as a slice of cake. Some important qualities there for a long and happy marriage. The kind someone else could be envious of.
That's a very interesting mixture of poetry and meanness.
I think Tea' Leoni was great for this role. She was very pretty and had an innocent cuteness about her. I think she looked better than Evelyn or the chick he was with before the glimpse. Yes, she at times looked somewhat plain and boring, but it's a fact that after women get married, they typically don't care to much for there appearance. They are thinking about their family, money, keeping the house together, ect. Remember when he took her out to dinner? She was all dolled up and looked good then. I honestly thought she looked good throughout the movie. Tea' Leoni made this role perfect.
