Yeah. That may just be why every time I see it in a movie store or rental place it is in the DRAMA section. Big mystery huh?

I think that's partially why it failed at the box office. It came out right after American Pie, so they tried to sell it as another movie in that vein. I remember the commercial being built around the "Did the producers of Fargo have a garage sale?" gag, as if the jerk roommates were the main characters.
