is this movie loyal to the book? i loved the book and i dont want to see the movie if it is going to ruin it for me.

i think its loyal to the story as a movie but its not exactly like the book.
melina marchetta wrote the book aswell as the screenplay so you can't get much more loyal to the story than that i guess
