i looked on melina's website and i kinda sad to say that her new book is fantasy fiction...
i'm just not a fan of that genre and all the main charactors are boys.....

I just finished Finnikin of the Rock. I didn't enjoy it as much as the others (OTJR remains my favourite), but it was pretty good. I'm not so taken with the fantasy genre, but I can see that a fan of that genre would really enjoy it. I still think she's amazing.

i have read it too and loved it suprisingly. i don't like that genre usually but i'm glad a gave it a shot because it was by melina marchetta. lol so her next book is called the pipers son and is centered around thomas mackee who we met in saving francescha!!!! i'm very excited
