Okay, Emma Lung to play Francesca, Saskia Burmeister playing Siobvahn.

i think the best person to play Francessca would be of course someone Melina Marchetta would pik because she would know exactly wat to look for in the actress she wanted to play her charatcer.

I'm going to sound like a total home and away nut when i say Isobel Lucas as Justine and Jason Smith as William Trombal (the truth is i only ever watched H & A because of those two). Kick Gurry needs to have a role somewhere, not quite sure as to who, and Matthew Newton. Michaela Banas? Isla Fisher? Ryan Kwanten?

caitlin stasey would be a really good raffaela from jellicoe road , though she could possibly play francesca , alex cappelli would be awesome as tom or jimmy and i reckon even though she might be a little young to play her that Claire Van Der Boom would be a good Hannah.

I'm pretty sure it's pronounced Sha-Vaughn (as in Vince Vaughn). Does that help?

Mia Wasikowska is the one who's going to play Alice in Wonderland. I hadn't heard of her before that, but now that you mention her, she really does look a lot like how i imagina Justine!

Amber Tamblyn could possibly play Tara Finke.

I don't know about Francesca & Will, somebody really, really good!

Francesca -- no clue. Depends on how old the rest of the cast members are, I guess.
Will -- Ashley Zukerman from Rush. He may be too old, but that didn't stop Matt Newton and Kick Gurry when they did Alibrandi. He just looks the part.
Mia -- again, no idea. Katherine McClements? (No more Rush people, I swear!)
Justine -- Celeste Dodwell?
Tara -- not sure. Caitlin Stasey maybe?
Siobhan -- Eliza Taylor or maybe Kristie Coade from Summer Heights High
Jimmy Hailler -- Craig Horner. He's too old as well but that'd probably work for his character
Thomas Mackee -- Tim Phillipps

Am I the messiah? I don't know, I could be, I'm not ruling it out.
