A friggin bath. Everyone is so damn sweaty and greasy.
That actually occurred to me in many of Cameron Diaz's scenes.

I thought it lacked a good final gang battle. I was really hoping to see that happen before the Union came and blew everyone away.
shareI liked that anticlimax. Showing the squabbles of these gangland tyrants against the larger picture was, I felt, quite brilliant. It shows us the difference and similarities between fighting for a cause like a nation and fighting for the Five Points. It shows us the compare/contrast between the microcosm and the macrocosm. And it shows us the way that these old dogs are being blown away as history floods over them.
