underrated score by Howard Shore


After watching this film again (loved it in theaters back in 2002) I just feel like the musical score and sound was done extremely well. I think it was nominated (Nominated for so much haha) but I really think this is one of Shores more under appreciated compositions.

Anyone agree? I'm not sure what won best score that year....

Elliot Goldenthal's Frida won that year. Shore's score wasn't written for the screen, so it was considered ineligible for awards. His contribution was 3 tracks from his unpremiered concert piece called "Brooklyn Heights."
