DiCaprio was miscast, imho

Cillian Murphy should've played DiCaprio's character. DiCaprio is an excellent actor. That's not the issue. It's just, you see DiCaprio more than you do the character.

Murphy would've been the perfect choice. He was the right age, Irish, an excellent actor with heaps of charisma. Personally, I think it would've made the whole film more interesting.

Diaz was also miscast. Have yet to figure out her [hypothetical] replacement..

"He's about as much use as a marzipan dildo.

I don't think Cillian could have saved the movie, it had a lot of problems. But your right Leo was terrible in this. Just....terrrbile.

i told you not to stop the boat. Now lets go. Apocaylpse Now

Every time I watch the movie I envision Heath ledger in the role. I think he would have been much better than Leo, and ledger vs DDL would have been incredible.

I love this movie and i think dicaprio played his role well. I like cillian murphy but don't really see him in the part of amsterdam. I agree that heath ledger would've been incredible and is probably the only actor that could've come close to matching daniel day-lewis's amazing performance as william cutting. Good call.

Di Caprio and Cameron were miscast (no chemistry between them either). I think DDL is just sooo good no other actor had a chance!

Cillian would've been a great choice. Leo and Cameron both were average. It's like goodfellas, it's my favorite movie but I never really liked Liotta in it

I'm glad people like you aren't involved in making movies. If you were, there would be nothing but garbage out there
