should this film have won Best Picture and Best Director at the Oscars?
It may not be Scorsese's best, nor as well-made as "The Pianist", but it is far more serious and epic than "Chicago" - right?

shareThis movie is horrible so stereotypical and really Cameron Diaz is so miscast the performances are good but a big violent mess
shareNo, but its a complete *beep* sin that Daniel Day-Lewis didn't win Best Actor. Its by far his best role to date.
shareNo but like the previous poster had stated DDL should have won that year.
sharePicture, director, leading actor,Production design, sound and Song...Great movie and its so Alive, you feel it´s a work of passion...but it was a mediocre year as films go(Chicago, the hours, the pianist?Nah...).Would like to have seen Road to perdition nominated.
