What happened to Rooker's character?

Other villains were obviously killed but what about Rooker(Marshall)? Last time we see him when he falls down after water hits him. After that Arnie takes his gun but It's not clear if Rooker is dead or just unconscious?

Honestly I don't think water could kill him but it was never explained in the end. I also hoped he will seriously kick Arnold's butt :/

I was wondering the same thing and according to some movie websites:

Marshall dies drowned when Gibson breaks all the clone-embryo tanks and floods the corridor; his body is shown lying on the floor afterwards.

But never was clear enough...

Prostitute: What the *beep* are you doing?
Johnny: I'm gonna kill a bunch of people.
