That bad chick never made it out of first grade...

The bad guy asked the bad chick how many times she was cloned. She responded that she'd lost count. But when she showed Adam her eyelid so he could see how many dots she had (which represents how many times a person has been cloned) she only had 4 dots.

How could she have lost count? She can't count to 4?

I'm just sayin....

I think that she was joking even bad chicks have to joke around once in a while.

reply

If you want to think seriously,

Perhaps she was cloned many times over to the point that she was forgetting long or short term memories.

That or, she had blonde hair before

reply

Hey! I have blonde hair and I remember EVERY time I've been cloned!! So there!

reply

oh really? how often have you been cloned? - never? - see, you can't remember :)

reply

Hold on, let me count the dots. 1 ... 2 ... 3. 3 times.

I got a jet black heart,Its all *beep* up and It's falling apart

reply

Oh yeah, because that would've been a GREAT and un-boring line..

"How many times have you been cloned?"
"4."

Yeah, that'd be better.

reply

She said it for dramatic effect, if she just said plain old four then what point, is the question, "I lost count" shows that she dosen't care that she isn't her actual original self. Called dramatic effect, oh I lost count how many times I said that.

Don't worry, I saw Lord of the Rings. I'm not going to end this 17 times.

As said it does show that she doesn't really care how many times she'd been cloned. Also you can lose count of small numbers.

"How many times have you too broken up and than gotten back together?"
"I don't know, 3 or 4; perhaps 5."

reply

Actually, if you want to be pedantic, the bad chick who said the line never went to 1st grade as she had only been alive for a matter of hours.

reply

Maybe she was just blowing dude off because she didn't care to share her life(lives) story(ies) with him?

reply

Its also entirely possible that she didnt want to admit that she failed 4 times. Sure he asked about cloning, but each time was cloned was the result of her failing to finish her job.

Of course she may just be repressing the feelings of death. She did wake up angry the last time.

it was just bad script writing

reply

I love how people always just assume something is poor writing instead of actually thinking about something. My impression was the line was meant to show her utter indifference about how times she'd been clone, which would be a crime in that world, and she hadn't bothered counting anymore. But mostly it was to show how truly bad ass she was.

This ain't my first tea party...

reply

This got submitted on moviemistakes.com but someone else pointed out that the "I can't count that high" or however she worded it was just a figure of speech.

reply

Just as Schwarzeneggar's character didn't realise that he was a clone, it's probably likely that the woman didn't know that she was cloned, atleast conscious of the fact that she has been cloned. She might have realised, once she came back that she was a clone. But she probably wouldn't have been keeping count.

reply

She knew she'd been cloned at least once, all the 'security' did, hence Wiley complaining every time he came back of 'phantom' pains from the previous death memory. This was ironic humor like the girls 'I can't remember' line, designed to trivialize what would actually be a bad memory.
