The accents really bothered me

I'm sure this has been talked about before but it's distracting. Alright Its understandable why they don't actually speak Russian but a British accent? I'm not sure if the main 2 actors are British but I know Ed Harris and Ron Pearlman are American so why didn't they at least try and do a Russian accent and not a British one. Might as well since their putting the effort for a British one. As for the Germans they should have made them speak full out German.

Too much work, for too crappy a film. The effort would have been lost. Quite honestly, it wouldn't have improved the film all THAT much. There were too many other things wrong with it already. The entire tone of the film (and most of the crew) would need to have been different to make this film work. Had that been done, it may have been worth it to hire actors with linguistic skills.

I agree, it's at least awkward. I was happy when Ron Perlman was killed so I no longer had to listen to his shi!!y British accent.

I'll get 'im!

So the Soviets and Germans speaking English with an accent would have been more realistic in your view? smh. Are you truly that štûpįd?

reply

I like Ed Harris and all but he sounded like he didn't even alter his American accent.
