Anyone else recognise the first battle from call of duty 2, and that fountain scene??

I do. There is similar mission in sniper elite

Don't forget the rock movie and the guila from modern warfare 2
And many sequences of modern warfare 2 with Black Hawk down.
Many similarities.

Huh? We are talking the first COD(2003) right? If yes! Then YUP! It looks/feels a bit inspired by;-)

The part at the beginning when he is pretending to be dead and the Nazis are shooting the dead bodies was similar to the Stalingrad mission in Call of Duty: World at War.
