what do you want goku ifighting beerus and cell... and broly shows up and a tag team with friezA????/ i thnik many of you forgot in dbz episode 1..... there was a guy on a tractor .... in dbs episode 1 goku is on a tractor... and i think u all forgot nothing happened in DBZ until the 3rd episode.. so u all need to relax it isnt just going to jump into the fighting straight away...
shareI really liked it, it was relaxing and just like the old times watching Dragon Ball but for those wanting battles already.. Jeez, be patient you maniacs. Hopefully Super will remain to be this way than a clone of Z.
P.S.: For the love of god not another Freeza-like arc of "I'm stronger than you" and "This isn't my final form yet" it's just so cheesy and corny.
Yes and goten fell from the cliff the same way gohan fell and was saved by his dad in the end... They aren't dumb. They do these things intentionally so people can say "see? they made nods, see that reference there?" but that doesn't mean its good.
I hope I'm wrong but this was a weak start. I know it's also not they forte but they could've done a bit better with the animation..

This is the same reason idiots on Amazon and whatever hated Battle of Gods.
Don't you all remember how Dragon Ball was? It was relaxing, comedic and then it had martial arts. Things changed by Z as they focused more than ever on fights as I've already said it before.
I'm speaking for myself here, not we the people.
I also never said I wanted for this episode to jump straight into "battles and shít".. An episode can also be good without those things and for me this wasn't it. It wasn't relaxing since it tried to mention as most characters as possible and when it tried to be funny, I didn't feel it..
But hey.. as you already said, it's only the first episode. Lets talk again after 3 or 4 more episodes.

I thought the animation was top notch. I was surprised it was as good as it was to be honest.
The episode itself was ok, it's probably going to get off to a slow start but that's ok so did Dragon Ball.
