Oozarus Almost Forgotten

I saw a Saiyan Oozaru T-shirt and felt like leaving a message about that. In the beginning of the series we think of Saiyans as from the Planet Vegeta, strong muscular barbaric people who dominated their planet, and had tails where they could transform at a full-moon. Becoming a Super Saiyan was also a big deal at the beginning of the series, and the series continues with new Super Saiyan transformations.

However, after the Saiyan Saga where Gohan defeats Vegeta in his oozaru form, oozarus almost seem forgotten. Goten and Trunks didn't even have tails. One only appears in G.T., but G.T. is non-cannon and the show occasionally showed memories of Oozarus in scenes. I wonder if Cell could have even transformed into one? Basically, the rest of the series there were only new Super Saiyan forms.

One thing I've always wondered is what would have happened if Gohan, Vegeta,or Goku transformed into an Oozaru because I believe they multiply your power x10 and then you're much bigger than your opponent. What if they did it like against Frieza or even at later villains? Would it have given them the upper hand, or would the villains easily cut off their tails?
