I don't blame the voice actress because the character is just horrible. It's her arrogance and lack of respect for the Z fighters that's the problem.
For example, after Goten and Trunks' battle is finished the gang decides to go and eat. Videl just witnessed and rightfully deduced that they were both more powerful than most of the adult fighters. After this she still thinks it's wrong for Goku and the others to have no interest in watching her joke of a father fight. Is she incapable of realizing that if Goten and Trunks are THAT powerful that Goku and Vegeta are much more powerful and her dad doesn't stand a chance?
She's not stupid so I can only assume it's arrogance that blinds her to the truth. Her father can't fly, can't shoot energy beams or show any of the strength that the Z fighters can. By the time the junior division ended there was no reason for her to hold her father in such high esteem.
