Can't Believe How Long It's Been

A lot of us remember DragonBall Z when it was on Cartoon Network/Toonami in the late '90s early 2000s. I remember Toonami. We had a spaceship pull up to start the show, and a couple of robots named Tom and a female named Sarah. They once did a storyline with them called The Intruder. There were also other TV shows which aired on Toonami, that you don't hear as talked about as much as DragonBall. They occasionally showed fans anime drawings, and had Toonami clips during commercials like Space Is The Place.

I have to say I seriously can't believe how long ago this was, literally 15-years ago. You can watch Toonami clips on YouTube and it will take you back to that time. It's interesting how DragonBall Z is still widely remembered, and popular. Though, a lot of us leave out Toonami when we talk about D.B.Z.

For me it doesn't feel like that long ago until I recall things like our VCR breaking and me having to watch them at my neighbors house because I had to see what happens next. It also might have been what encouraged me to use the internet for the first time. I was in school reading a magazine and saw the website pojo.com mentioned in relation to DBZ and thought I'd check it out for myself on one of the class computers since I didn't have one at home. I loved toonami and hated when it was replaced by miguzi.
