Dylan vs Hercules

Both Kevin Sorbo, both beyond the capabilities of normal humans! Who wins?!

In the Andromeda-universe almost everyone - excepted Harper - have capabilities beyond normal humans. And Harper compensates that with being a genius.

As things go Dylan is the least spectacular, most 'normal' one of them all.

Eventually someone will have to explain to me exactly where you people see any similarities between Dylan Hunt and Hercules - other than the fact that both were played by the same actor (yet so completely differently that for a rather long time I had trouble figuring out why that guy from Hercules seemed vaguely familiar)...

Not spectacular perhaps but he IS a sneaky git in addition to the combat, stealth and command training:-)

A Herc vs Hunt fight would probably be a no score draw; Hercules could pummel Hunt into a greasy stain then get creamed by a trap set up two days earlier.

Or they'd end up in a pub with Paul Atreides, Luke Skywalker, Pug and John Murdoch. Heroes have to drink somewhere:-)

Dylan Hunt's mother is a Heavy Gravity world native. They are "somewhat" engineered, though not as much as Nietzscheans, but because of the GE of this subspecies of humans, they have an extended life span (150 years).

Other than that and his training, I can't see anything special about Dylan, particularly when you pit him against a character that was sired by a God (Zeus). "Heroes" (half-god/half-human) aren't immortal, but are pretty hard to kill.

That and Hercules' famous strength (fer cryin' out loud, he held up the WORLD to give Atlas a break for awhile and had to trick Atlas into taking the burden back) makes this a no-brainer. Herc wins.

Destroy all that which is evil, so that which is good may flourish.
