Cuba Gooding Jr is about the only thing good about this movie.

Dore Miller was one of the few real figures portrayed in this movie. Look him up. He engaged in an act of heroism when blacks still segregated in the military. Educate yourself, he was a hero that day, rewarded with the medal of honor then sent back to mess duty.
