Not as great as Silence Of The Lambs but it's still solid.

It's also not as good as Red Dragon. I feel the lack of Jodie Foster in this film held it back from getting closer to Lambs and the changing of the books ending which would've been freaking insane. I always thought things would end that way and wished they stuck to their guts on that one and Foster gave it a chance. The cinematography and performances are top notch but the script was lacking the interaction that Hannibal and Clarice had in Silence Of The Lambs. The dinner sequence on the other hand was fantastic and makes the film totally memorable based on that one incredible sequence.

Hannibal to The Silence of the Lambs is like what Godfather Part III is to Godfather Part II. Quite entertaining and worth a watch, and even rewatches, but not as top quality. It still has great acting from everyone and it was a very well done movie despite what people say about it. The Counselor is another very underrated Ridley Scott film that people just don't get.

I like it as much, Julianne, Gary Oldman and Giancarlo Giannini gave good performances.

This film has grew on me actually. Partly because I'm a fan of the Hannibal TV series. Which has similar tone to this movie, and the show loosely re-adapts the third book. Also the movie has a great score.

I feel like people are mostly hating on this movie, because it's not Silence of the Lambs.

i hate it because it was boring and because Moore sucked. it was shocking for the sake of being shocking at times and it was ridiculous at other times

this was horrible, it ruins the greatness of silence of the lambs. it was garbage
