sharesorry for replying so late, but i really want to mention that i think that it's a shame those wonderful scenes of the 2046 novel were deleted out of the movie. chang chen's character has basically been deleted entirely. and those scenes would have given so much more insight into the novel that tony leung wrote and also into his feelings towards all the women..
i kept watching this trailer over and over again on the dvd just because those scenes with the wonderful dresses and the expressed mood amazed me that much.

I wish they would do a better DVD release for a movie that took so long to make and has such an obviously interesting production history. One with all the future scenes as extra's would be ideal.
