After my first watch of 2046...

I see it's been said a few times before on this board, but I have to say...

In the Mood For Love is one of my all-time favourite films, having watched it repeatedly over the years and using it for creative inspiration for some of my own work (fashion/writing). After far too long, I decided to watch 2046 this morning and I am blown away.

Such a brilliant film and probably knocked off ITMFL out of the top spots for me. I think it was the redemption of Chow, and going from despising the character to empathising with him. Then there's the direction during the Christmas dinner with Faye Wong, and the dialogue throughout the film...jeez it was good.

Goooooooooooooood stuff.
