Am I the only one who wanted to vomit anytime Malkovich tried to sound like he was from New York????

JM is usually an amazing actor...

But his accent was absolutely TERRIBLE.

No, I agree. The movie could have done without him in my opinion, and his deathly accent.

Agreed. He is obviously a great actor, but he felt out of place in this movie, even though i never noticed his failed accent on account of english being my third language. Even accent aside, he wasn't believable.

People who don't like their beliefs being laughed at shouldn't have such funny beliefs

That's pretty much how he talks all the time. Malkovich just sounds like Malkovich.

No, I felt the exact same way. I doubt Malkovitch was even trying. The guy was clearly just having fun in his role, and good for him.
