If Jason's Body Was Blown To Pieces In 'Jason Goes To Hell'...? - Jason X (2002) Discussion

At the end of Jason Goes To Hell, his body is resurructed through his sister. Later in that movie, they send him to hell, and the FAQ here on IMDB says Freddy vs Jason explains how he got out, but it has been too long since i'v seen that movie to remember it. Possibly somebody else can fill in this gap

Jason X technically takes place AFTER Freddy vs. Jason. Therefore, at the end of that film we see Jason is alive and well as he emerges from the lake with Freddy's head in tow.

These guys got it right. He was reborn, sent to Hell, but Freddy brought him back.

This happens AFTER that. And with the "remake" I guess we can assume the original Jason finally died plummeting through the atmosphere of Earth II.

Hell no. The remake is simply a figment of somebody's warped imagination. The original Jason ain't dead, no, not now, not ever, never!!! He is peaceful residing on Earth II, sitting by the lake side drinking tea & feeding the squirrels during the day, then a quick hack-n-slice of a couple of horny teens before he turns in for the night :)

I'd like to view the Jason series as different worlds.

Earth 1 Jason died in 1958

Earth 2 Jason is the one from Friday the 13th Parts 1-4. He is killed by Tommy Jarvis in 1984.

Earth 3 Jason had a similar life story to Earth 2 and is resurrected by Tommy in Part 6 but dies in that film and stays dead.

Earth 4 Jason had a similar life story to Earth 3 and is killed by Tina in Part 7.

Earth 5 Jason had a similar life story to Earth 4 Jason and dies in Part 8.

Earth 6 Jason is some odd alternate universe where Jason is a demon after making a similar deal with the demons that Freddy made. His life story is similar to the Jason of Earth 2 with the exception of the events of Parts 2-4 happen differently. He kills Tommy Jarvis and countless others in Crystal Lake before dying in Jason Goes to Hell. This Jason fights Freddy Krueger in "Freddy vs Jason" and is in Jason X.

Jason goes to hell had nothing to do with the other movies.
It was a stand-alone film. I was said in a documentary on the Jason X DVD.

'Jason goes to hell' is a stupid movie and an incoherent mess.
