Jason X continues Freddy vs Jason and thus, I have a few questions. (Feel free to give your opinions)

1. What the hell happened to Freddy's head?
2. Is Freddy really dead or just tricking Jason?
3. What happened to the scratch mark Freddy made on Jason's mask?

My Answers
1. The last part of Freddy vs Jason was a dream. Freddy was never really beheaded.
2. Freddy's still alive and continues to torture the youths of Springwood.
3. I don't know but it's reasonable as Freddy vs Jason was made after Jason X.

1. Jason probably kept it as a trophy or threw it in the lake.
2. Yes. Seeing is the Englund films are done, yeah he's dead.
3. Scratch mark?

I just look at it this way: there's a big gap between JVF and JasonX. Big enough for a whole bunch of F13 movies - just like (iiuc) with the Fast and Furious movies, where No4+No5 take place B4 No3 (and it looks like No6+No7 will do too).

So I don't worry about any plot points not lining up.

Is Jason vs. Freddy considered to be part of the 13th canon? Maybe that's why it doesn't line up with Jason X.
