The beginning of it is actually interesting

Where Jason's basically being held captive in some military facility and they're studying him trying to figure out why he wont die. Its actually an interesting idea for a Jason movie, cause it makes logical sense that the government would wanna capture Jason and study him. But then all that stuff is just done and over with in 5 minutes and we fast forward to space and its just pure sh!t from there.

I mean i would have liked the movie to stay right where it was at the start and continue the whole movie with them trying to figure out what makes Jason tick. Like that quick montage at the start of them operating on Jason, that would have been a cool scene instead of just being a 30 second montage. They could have shot scenes of them trying different ways to kill Jason.

Hell they could've started the movie showing us how they got a hold of Jason in the first place. I mean this movie would have been so much better if it stayed on earth and they went further with the government wanting to study Jason.

Thats what i love about these high school girls, i get older they stay the same age.

Tbh I think that sounds really boring. The Friday the 13th series has a formula that works and trying to be too different and new would've just upset fans. I'm not saying that most fans liked this movie (I do, but I know it isn't a popular film overrall), but look at all the complaining you hear still about the 5th film and Jason Goes to Hell. The film is Aliens meets Jason Takes Manhattan (the cruise scenes) when we get to space, and I'm fine with that. It's a fun movie.

Pretty intriguing.

That's actually an awesome idea! Is it wrong that I hope they use it in a future movie?
