Actually grown on me.

When I first rented this from blockbuster. (Yea remember that?) I remember me and my friends getting more and more annoyed with it. Each act got worse. The aliens rip off team, the Android girl. But now I've grown to like it. Its still not a great horror film, it could have been better but it's good cheesy fun. And at least he was in space which is an improvement from not spending much time in New York and not going to Hell.

"Good cheesy fun" is the perfect way to describe Jason X. I'll take this over parts VII and VIII - I hold Jason Goes to Hell in such low esteem that I don't even consider it part of the series, let alone the "true" Jason universe - any day.

While I agree JGTH has big flaws - that jumping from body to body, hmmm - without it we wouldn't have JvF so I'm happy to consider it as part of the series albeit a big misstep.
