Guilty pleasure

This movie is undoubtedly bad, but still there is something about it that makes me watch it every year.

So bad it's good, in my opinion. :P

I honestly feel no guilt for liking Jason X and consider it genuinely good. Sure, it's a dumb, silly concept, but the movie knows and embraces that and has fun with itself

I mean... I thought the futuristic concept was kinda cool. I like this more than "Jason Goes to Hell". It changes the setting but doesn't skewer it's formula. It,'s an enjoyable Cheesefest.

Watched it last night. Still awesome. Made when TV was completely filled with Sci-Fi shows and spinoff's of spinoffs. From Lexa Doig and Lisa Ryder to Pete Mensah, Chuck Campbell, David Cronenberg and Kane Hodder! Arguably the most talented cast in a movie produced by Cunningham, with an original score by Manfredini. Fun x10. This came out when we had Star Trek Babbling on, V remake, SCi-fi cheese overload. Not a guilty pleasure. A pleasure. Jason Goes to Hell, opened the door for this, still good kills. Beats any random rerun of Stargate: Atlantis.... etc. Fun movie. Voorhees vs Cyborg? No?

No guilt for me. It was the most logical place for Jason to end up, from the humble beginnings of Crystal Lake on Earth as a child in the 1950s killed by the neglect of selfish teenagers, transformed into an avenging killing machine with supernatural powers, making his way from Crystal Lake, to Manhattan, to Hell, to Elm Street and Crystal Lake (to dispatch another horror icon since Jason is a bigger badass and the best horror anti-hero), and finally to be totally set free to wreak havoc through the cosmos. This movie is sadistically hilarious. There's absolutely nowhere that's safe from Jason, not even space. To me it's the perfect conclusion to the Jason series. A 9/10 for me. The only thing left for Jason to do would be to go to heaven and kill God, but that would be too much.

Defintely a guilty pleasure for me, as bad as it was & yes it's cheesy & boring at parts but it's fun to watch & it makes you smile.

Why be guilty for liking something? Worried what others will think of you? Fuck 'em.

Jason X is better than The Godfather, Citizen Kane, Nosferatu, The Wolf of Wall Street, Everything Everywhere All At Once etc, etc.
