Did the government find Jason's body at the bottom of Crystal Lake?

If it doesn't skip Jason Goes to Hell. Did they dig Jason up from Hell? (I know about the Freddy vs Jason thing.)

I assumed that the ending of FREDDY VS JASON took place in Hell. However, everywhere I've read about indicates that it was the world of the living. That means that JASON either survived or came back to "life". He kept on killing until being captured by the government. What no one knows is what happened to FREDDY.

This movie was made whilst Jason vs Freddy was being put together. Thus the JX makers set their story WAYYYYYYYYYYY in the future, so it takes place AFTER JvF and any other movies that could've come from that, such as a JvFvPinHead movie.

(just ignore any mentions of the year in the pre-space bit at the start of the movie and you'll be fine)
