shareJason has actually worn a wide series of hockey goalie masks starting from part 3. For a guy who started with a sack with one eye hole...... it seems harsh to bash him on the cyber mask? Remember he was reanimated in space against his will. Not his choice. An open mind can stop a foolishly thrown stone. Food for thought.

Out of the entire franchise, which includes the post-part-8 glorified fan fiction entries, only the Jason X mask has a fundamentally different design, due to its flattened pug nose. What makes it even more ridiculous is that it has the axe gash from the end of part 3, and the boat propeller damage from the end of part 6, yet it is a fundamentally different style of mask than he wore in those movies.
Also, his original mask from part 3 was destroyed at the end of part 7, so having damage from parts 3 and 6 on his mask in Jason X wouldn't have made sense even if it had have been the correct style of mask.
The "Uber Jason" mask was something else entirely of course, and at least made sense from within the context of the story (though the whole "Uber Jason" thing was a dumb idea in general, because it fundamentally changed the essence of the character).
