But I was wondering why did Alonzo keep visiting Cruella and bringing her gifts?
She was so mean to him in 101 when she was arrested he could have escaped.
Why stick around he would have been FAR away if he'd just left.
Did anybody else wonder the same thing besides my sis and me???
Any thoughts on the matter??

Well...Alonzo's connected with Cruella's fashion-design business as seen in the first film. Giving up his service to her, would be giving away his career cuz Cruella would fire him as she did with Anita. So im assuming he didn't wanna lose his career OR his service to Cruella. Plus, he probably makes big cash. Cruella is filthy rich.

When she is Evil again, he is constantly after her approval and becomes insanly jealous when Lepelt comes into the picture. Both men want to sweep her of her feet.
When Ella emerges from Prison, she puts out a warm gentle hand out and caresses the side of his face, which kick starts his crush even further towards her.
When Ella walks up the stairs towards her bed chamber, we see Alonzo just sigh with lust seen on his expression.
