I didn't like how she treated Ella. Treating her like she is some cruel woman when she wasn't even Cruella anymore and when Big Ben Struck I bet she was happy when Ella left and Cruella came back. What a dumb blonde. When I was 16 I decided I didn't like her because of the way she treats Ella. Just my comment about her.
Not to mention, Cloe's dog...Dipstick was previously almost killed by Cruella when he was a puppy with a pitchfork in some hay. Luckily she was distracted or else Dipstick would have had a few button holes cut in. I didn't blame Cloe, but at least she finally recognised that she's changed...WHEN she became evil again! lol.
Well, you have to realize what Cruella did in the first place to be put in prison. Now, being a parole officer, she's seen many people who have probably resorted back to old ways after getting out. Plus, Chloe owned one of the puppies Cruella almost killed and made into a coat. I don't blame her at all for treating the woman the way she did.
From what I remember in the movie, Chloe said she didn't believe in second chances and doesn't believe anyone is capable of changing their ways (when it has been proven possible many times over). In other words, she condemns forgiveness. That just comes across as bitterness to me.
The thing that really bothers me about Chloe, right, she is a parloe officer charged with helping people to redeem their life and start again with a second chance but she doesn't believe in second chances. So what the *beep* is she doing working as a parole officer?!! Her attitude is completly unorthadoxed. When Ella is released from prison, Chloe is ready to sentence her with guilt before Ella can do anything to redeem herself. I never liked Chloe from the start when i first saw the movie and i was glad when she got landed with Ella but her treatment towards her was cruel but i was releieved when Ella returns back into Cruella because i knew Cruella was going to get her own back by destroying the one thing in Chloe's world. The pups. Chloe is messing around with the wrong chick! Chloe can be bitter and at times cold, but Cruella can be narcissistic, cruel, twisted, vicious manipulative and completly evil to the bone! But these are the reasons why we love Cruella De Vil.
Chloe just doesn't make any sence when it comes to her attitude towards second chances and deserves to be up against Cruella... and lose because Cruella is just always one step ahead in the game of being Queen Bitch!
I can't remember correctly to be certain, but I don't think Chloe necessarily said outright that she doesn't believe in second chances. I think she was just feeling biased about the case. She did try to make an effort, and she did end up trusting Cruella after all. Having said that, I wasn't keen on Chloe as a character either, and she foolishly thought her friend was the villain at one point.
Maybe she was the sort who thought a leopard couldn't change its spots and besides, she wasn't wrong because Cruella returned, even though Ella was very sweet to begin with.
What annoyed me is she suddenly trusted Cruella and thought \kevin had stolen the puppies when Kevin had shown how much he cared for dogs,so why would he suddenly steal dogs?
The frame against Kevin was really good. He said the dog shelter was going down the third time when Cruella stepped in and Cruella was made well aware of Kevin's financial position and she told him of her terms of probation which made the frame stick as most people will do anything for money and Cruella plays innocent for framing Kevin for framing her. That's how she was going about it.
Kevin - "Why would I steal Dalmatian puppies? What possible motive could I-" Cruella - "The Judge's order! Oh Kevin how could you!? All this for money!" Chloe - "Just like you said at the restaurant...." Inspector Armstrong - "Would someone kindly acquaint me with the facts?!" Cruella - "If I'm caught stealing puppies my entire fortune goes to him! (Gasps) Would that be a motive?"
"Don't worry about the length, they'll ride up with wear,"
