I'd really love to play this game, but for some reason I just can't get into 2D turn based rpgs unless it's pokemon. I got a fair amount through FF4 (up until cecil turns into a white knight then u gotta fight something in the castle with regenerating arms) but I just stopped caring...so do you think there's any chance of this game coming to the DS just like FF3 and 4 have? (well 4 comes on june 22)
shareHave you tried playing it at all? If you cant get into it at all, then changing it from 2D to 3D shouldnt really help much. Its the kind of game you play for the gameplay and story, not just for the graphics.
Really doubt they'll remake it now, they've been turning down requests to do so for a loooong time. You can always check out the sequel (Chrono Cross) on Playstation 1; its 3D and takes place in the same universe as Chrono Trigger and sort of continues the story in the big picture. Its not as good as Chrono Trigger, but its still one of the best RPGs on PS.
well, I don't have a problem with lousy graphics. Hell I have a PS3 and i still buy PS1 games from time to time. But for some reason I can't really get into 2D graphics unless they're at least an isometric view or pokemon. I love pokemon.
but they're putting it on DS so i'll check it out there. Hopefully it's good enough that i don't care about the graphics lol

IT is already confirm, it's coming to the ds although the graphics are not going to change the only thing they are adding is a new dungeon but other than that the game will be the same. But the the game's graphics to me are awesome even for a 2d game.
