If anyone has seen this movie, please tell me! There are two reasons why I want to know:
1. This is the first Leprachaun movie that has mostly (no offense), black actors in here.
2. Chucky references have been mentioned.
I have to admit that I don't understand why having black actors makes the body count any more interesting. Anyway, there's a full body count for all the Leprechaun movies at http://www.lepconnie.com/bodycount.html You'll notice that the body count gets higher in every movie, but it doesn't seem to be race-related.
They refer to the Leprechaun as "Chucky on crack" one time in this movie. That's it for Chucky references, unless there was something else that was too subtle for me to catch!
The Chucky reference I just mentioned was not to throw you off or anything, it was actually a question because people keep talking (though I don't think so) about Chucky vs. Leprechaun. Like they would make a movie of these characters.
shareA lot of fans (including me) would love to see a Lep vs Chucky movie, but it's not likely to ever happen because the franchises belong to different studios. If they just keep on making movies in each series without ever getting the characters together, that'll be satisfactory enough for me.
