Was watching this season for the first time on GMC ( I know first mistake) I got too right after Amy's and Micheals custody battle, the Episode where Bruce's daughter falls done some stairs and is rushed too the hospital. At this point Jarod is dead. On today's Episode Jarod was alive again meeting Maxine in a cafeteria. Was the one before the last episode? Surely not.

They skip nearly half the series for religious reasons. From what I gather from what you are saying, GMC/UP is likely airing the episodes they do show out of order
This must have been way out of order because this was when Vincent was still living with them. I've Seen 7th Heaven, TBA. And Family Ties sometimes pick out certain episodes on Holidays but this wasn't really a holiday episode. I hope it was just a fluke and it continues normally on Monday.
