Mauro Fiore is a helluva DOP man, any film students or industry people out there? I'm sure you will agree that Fiore has a real eye for depth of field. The Rack and Focus and the transition from sharp to soft, the canted angles, all very nice.

yeah man I love his work, have you seen The Island? I love Michael Bay movies for their cinematography and editing and believe me The Island is no different. I liked how colorful the movie was and yet how restrained it was in other places.
shareoh yeah man, i agree about the colour, considering alot of the piece was shot in overcast conditions the grading was superb, the green green of the grass was such a nice juxtaposition. These guys are talented man, check out Andrzej Sekula, Robert Richardson, and my favourite John Mathieson (although Richardson is very close)
