So did Carter kill Cyrus in the end...?

Despite the reviews, I'll gladly admit that this is one of my favorite flicks. Quick question -- does Carter kill Cyrus at the end? They allude to it, but never truly show it or mention it later. What do you all think?

reply

I think he did with all the police chasing him in the end, nothing else would really warrant that. Most of what he did was incognito pretty much, but Cyrus was out in the open so yeah I think he killed him.

He also killed Brumby in the parking garage, and the guy who made the video.

Where do you get police chasing him?

reply

I don't remeber the police chasing him but regardless, it was left open so viewers could make up there own mind. I have to say that it would be extreemly odd if he came all that way only to figure out who killed his brother and then do relatively little about it.

Secrets aren't my concern. . . Keeping them is.

At the end of the fight between Carter and Cyrus, Cyrus' eyes were open and staring at the ceiling, and I saw no movement in his body at all. It looked like Carter had beaten him to death.

If you listen closely at the end of the movie you can hear police sirens. Cyrus was probably beaten to death because his eyes were staring lifelessly towards Carter when he had a gun in his face. I don't think that Carter shot Cyrus though.

ya its kinda obvious that Jack Carter kills Cyrus!wheather if he shot him or beat him hes dead! cuz you can totally tell when right after that sene where he kills him Jack has this look on his face that is indescribable and his eyes totally say, "ya, i killed him. And i'm proud of it!" but ya you can totllay tell right off the bat that he killed him if you are a HUGE Sylvester Stallone fan... like me!!!
