Eddie's death compared to Brumby's

In the original Get Carter the scene was laughable when he killed Brumby. The way he just keeps hitting him, saying something, hitting him, saying something. It was just funny. Then he just lifts him up over the ledge and off the building. It's like the whole scene was done in slow motion. He slowly beats him up and slowly throws him off the building.

In the Get Carter remake, when Jack goes after Eddie, it's a lot like this scene, but done so much better. Jack confronts Eddie about the rape and says just like he did in the original, "What if it was your daughter?" I also like how Jack blames himself for all that happened because he was away. Eddie says, "Jack, don't kill me, man." Then Jack says, "You killed yourself." Then it cuts to him leaving with the sound of a car alarm going off. You can see Eddie dead on the car.

The original films violent scenes were more realisitic I thought. A punch will hurt you, being stabbed once will prety much finish you, the whole film was dark and gritty and depressing. It was meant to be like that. the original Carter was an *beep* made a better film in my opinion
