Midgar Zolom Challenge

Ok, I've seen plenty of Challenges, most of them involving restrictions and low levels. But here is something I've moderately tried.

1. The lowest level possible you can beat the Zolom.

2. The party most capable of beating it with/without Beta.

3. Limit Levels needed for an easy defeat.

4. Most importantly. How many consecutive wins can you get.

While I mainly put this here was because this isn't an FAQ. , and I haven't done this much until recently. It doesn't give a huge amount EXP or AP, but early on, it's quite a challenge and can be defeated many ways.

Allow me to say a few things about what I did.

Having Aerith at Limit Level 3 helps big time. Planet Protector voids Beta and any Attacks. Obviously Link ELem-Def to Fire to at least Halve Fire damage from Beta. However, due to the 1 in 3 chance of the one person the Elemental Materia being ousted, don't count on needing it. ClimHazzard helps. So does Lunatic High and depending on how developed TIfa's Limits are, she can do damage too.

Lastly since they respawn and aren't a boss, think of this, In their world, not only do they exist, but there are much more than one in those swamps. Especially since you see one get impaled before entering the Mythrill Mines. I bet it wasn't the same one chasing you. However this is a world where Huge Weapons exist whose sole purpose is to Harvest Mako energy from abundant live sources (kill lots of humans) in order to heal the planet.
