Needs a season 4

Damn shame it got cancelled. An awesome show. Has shows ever been brought back after this long of a layoff?

I don't think it would be, but it would be cool to have a reunion movie.

Angietitus is right. Relic Hunter wasn't a hit show and that was why it only got its original 3 seasons as its TV contract stipulated. But a movie reunion would be nice although I doubt that Fireworks Entertainment would make it as it seems to have stopped production after 2004.

At least Relic Hunter was treated better in its third season than the original Star Trek TV series was in the 1960s when it was regarded as a failure by its NBC producers who wanted to cancel the show after its second season. After fan pressure caused them to renew it for a third and final season, NBC proceeded to slash Star Trek's production budget by 10% and most of its top producers abandoned the series early or partway through the series. Few good shows were made in Star Trek's final season--maybe 5 or 6 or 7 out of 24 season 3 Star Trek shows. That never happened to Relic Hunter. Its producers still made quality episodes at the end of its third and final season and its very best season 3 shows were the suspenseful Sydney at Ten, Vampire's Kiss, Antianeirai, Fountain of Youth and the classic Arthur's Cross. Of course there were other good shows too; these ones just jump out to me right now at this late hour.
