Did Sydney and Nigel ever get each other?
I never followed the show, but saw parts of it when channelsurfing. Now I heard that they cancelled the show I got kind of curious if they ever got each other?

I think they saw each other half or fully naked at one time when he was in the shower and she kind of forced him out.

They manage to get invited to a party – styled as a Roman orgy – in the bad guy’s house, and in order to blend in they have to have a brief (and it is brief!) snog. It’s only a few seconds, and probably not worth seeing except for Nigel’s reaction.
Actually the ‘physical contact’ scene I find most affecting is in Run Sydney Run, where both she and Nigel have been led to believe each other is dead, and are reunited: the embrace as each realises the other is in fact alive, which is neither sexual nor romantic, is quite touching.
I suppose they would have devoloped a storyline about the two of them falling for each other and getting together had they not cancelled the show.

Agreed. Sydney's romantic partners were always dashing, charismatic alpha male types. Nigel was her research assistant (forgot his official position; was he a post-doc or still pursuing his phd?) so they were never "on the same level" sort to speak. They're more brother-sister and mentor-protegé and the chemistry between them just wouldn't work as lovers.
