Is christien anholt gay?

I don't think so! He's been married and divorced. I met him once and he certainly seemed straight to me. Doesn't matter anyway really. He's a great actor!

his character Nigel didn't come off gay either, just a bit clumsy and awkward, especially around women. i actually know a lot of english guys like Nigel in real life and they're all straight but might be mistaken for gay by americans.

The floppy haired, posh, awkward and stuttering persona was clearly an attempt to emulate and cash in on Hugh Grants popularity at the time in the USA.
